SEPARATION AND EXTRACTION AT WORK

Invented here in Canada and leveraging over 25 years of industry leading research, design and commercialization - L1X Corp worked to design a NANO SEPARATION & NANO-EXTRACTION process that isolates and efficiently extracts LITHIUM from brine salars and clay.

KEY DELIVERBALES...ZERO external water consumption for brine, NO pollution, battery grade lithium output. 

To capture other elements from the source brine, we simply add more extraction loops in our continuous feed system.

FIRST in CLEAN SOURCED LITHIUM 

Step 1: Separation/ DLE

Our own nano filtration process and nano-separation technology captures lithium and other desired elements. Pure distilled water is also extracted from the brine itself which is used in our process. 

Step 2: Extraction

Staged extraction and concentration cycles isolate and efficiently extract the lithium

Step 2.1: Secondary Extraction

Other required element(s) or toxic waste efficiently isolated and captured. This stage also works with azeotropes for solvent and acid leech/recovery processes such as lithium in clay.

Step 3: Rapid & Efficient Concentration 

The L1X Lithium system has another proprietary application for the concentration stage which is significantly more cost efficient that any thermal, crystallizer, evaporator or RO water recovery technology. Full water recovery and ZERO external water consumption.

Step 4: Battery Grade Output 

The L1X Lithium system is optimized for the most efficient path to production output of lithium carbonate, chloride and hydroxide. 

Step 5: Zero External Water Outflow

Re-use/ inject back into the basin; or sell the pure distilled water captured from the brine itself resulting in a net positive clean water usage.

OpEx: Efficient

Expensive thermal energy applications are not required.  Operating under a vacuum, and at 70.C our OpEx is low and our uptime is exceptional. Since our processing is efficient and continuous, our OpEx is cheaper than tradition lithium extraction processes for both brine and clay.

CapEx: Lower Cost

The total price of a full production evaporation pond system is more expensive than our clean technology solution.  This also does NOT include the evaporation ponds cost to the environmental air, land and water pollution and consumption.
 

Revenues: 2X

Since our costs are lower and we can also capture approx 99% of the lithium from source, we are doubling the production value, reducing time-to-marekt-output by years for a remarkable return on investment.
